Darrel Shaynne Curtis Sr. was the head of the Curtis Family. Together with his wife, Mrs. Curtis, he had three sons, Darrel, Sodapop and Ponyboy. He died in an auto wreck, along with his wife.
Physical Appearance and Personality[]
Mr. Curtis is said to resemble his eldest son, Darry. He had hair that kicked out in the front and had a slight cowlick in the back. He was probably strong and had a good build. Pony said that he was forty years old when he died, and looked twenty five.
He also had a happy-go-lucky sense of humor, like Sodapop.
